Set the right privacy level for your CV

When you upload your CV to Jobsket, you can choose from three different privacy levels. The public level allows everyone to see your CV even outside Jobsket. At Jobsket we recommend to use this privacy level when you want to promote yourself and you need the highest visibility for your CV. Actions like embedding your CV in your website or sharing it across Twitter or Facebook need your CV to be public. At Jobsket we recommend you to set your CV as public but always masking the private information data in your CV.

There is another level that makes your CV only visible to companies registered in Jobsket and which are looking for candidates. This privacy level is ideal for people looking for a job as no one but this companies will be able to access to your CV.

Finally, there is a private level that makes you the only person that will have access to the CV. This privacy level is recommended for people that only wish to keep their cv centralized and stored in a safe place. Note that although no other person or company will have access to your data, you still can use Jobsket to know your value on the market, send your CV by email and many other things.

If you already have uploaded your CV to Jobsket, you can change its visibility level at any tame from the configuration section.

Hide your data to search engines

Search engines like Google, Yahoo or Bing are always looking at the Internet trying to find new pages to read and store. This means that when you make your CV public it will be available to these search engines and the will find it and stored. Therefore, if someone comes afterwards and searchs for your name, your CV will appear in the results page. There is many people that like this because it provides the maximum visibility and helps to promote yourself, but we also understand that there is many people that don't like this. Note that if you set your privacy levels to visible only to companies or private no search engine will be able to read your information.

If you still want to make your CV public but not accessible from search engines, we have made it really simple for you. When you upload your CV you can choose whether you want to make your CV available to search engines or not. If you have already uploaded your CV, you can change this setting at any time from the configuration settings page. In this last case, note that search engines like google always give a few days to remove data form their caches.

Cancellation rights

At any time you can cancel your acocunt. If you don't wish to use Jobsket any more and you want all your personal data to be removed, you can sign down from jobsket at the configuration page. If you have any question just contact us.
